Programs for Kids



Don’t miss out on the fun, every Thursday evenings beginning at 6pm @ Your Library during the 2017 Summer Reading Program.   Here are just a few of the things that will be happening:

June 8: SCIENCE KICKOFF~ Kenkucky Science Center Fun for all Ages–Wildly fun science demonstrations and experiments for everyone!
June 15: ART NIGHT~ Sculpting, painting, and crafts–we will create all types of art. 
June 22: SOLAR POWER ~ The Universary of KY Solar Team will bring the solar car they have designed for a visit and we will make our own solar powered experiments and gadgets.
June 29: RECYCLE/REUSE ~ We’ll take what we have and make something brand new and useful.
July 6: BUILDING/ARCHITECTURE~ We’re going to build everything this night–even our food!
July 13: WET AND WILD FINALE~ Bring your towel because we’re going to get wet, plus we’ll have a special guest Ronald McDonald.


 Storytime for Preschool Children and Their Caregivers

Hear a story, have fun with other children, or create something special.  Join in the activities each Thursday morning at 10:30am.


Toddler Time Meets the 1st Saturday of each month at 10:30am.   It is designed for Children ages 18 months through 4 years.

Toddler Time is a fun opportunity to:

  • Enjoy Fun and Learning with Miss Cat
  • Share Activities with Your Toddler
  • Hear a Story and Join in with Rhymes
  • Check out Books to Read with Your Child.
  • Make Simple Crafts, Dance and Sing
  • Develop Important Motor Skills
  • Learn about Sharing with Others
  • Socialize with Other Parents
