Want More Programs For Children?

Check out some of the fun things going on at your Casey County Public Library:

Over The Rainbow Scavenger Hunt (Any Age)
March 1 – March 31
Your clue hunt begins in the children’s section. Follow the hints to find the five clue cards. Each card has a secret word. Put them together in order to figure out the secret phrase. Once you have your secret phrase, tell it to front desk staff to get your treasure!

Coloring Contest (K – 5)
March 1 – March 31
Stop by your Casey County Public Library to pick up a coloring sheet. Turn your completed sheet in through the book drop with your name and phone number on the back. Finished coloring sheets will be hung up on display in the children’s section! Plus, everyone who turns one in will have their name entered into a raffle for a prize (limit to one entry per child).

Easter Egg Coloring
March 8 – March 31

Stop by your Casey County Public Library to grab an egg to color or print one on your own. Color it however you’d like and then return it to the library so it can be put on the Easter egg tree in the window facing the street at the end of the month. If you stop by after March 22, check out the tree to see if you can find your egg!

Creative Chaos for Kids (K – 5) (Must sign up to participate!)
First Tuesday of every month
Each month, there will be a different theme. On the first Tuesday of the month, Ms. Tracy will post a video you can watch along with to do your kit, which is available to pick up the week that video goes up. Do the little challenge and keep track of your reading logs for chances to win prizes!

Teachers, if you’re interested in partnering with your Casey County Public Library on programming for your classroom or you’re looking for something specific, please reach out to us by emailing Tracy Murphy at or calling us at (606) 787-9381. We are happy to work with you!
