Programs for Kids and Tweens

Summer Reading has officially started! The theme is Tails and Tales.

Summer Reading will run from June to July and is open to children of all ages! Activities will still take place virtually on Facebook. Bag pickups full of themed crafts and activities will take place every two weeks and certain weekend programs, such as StoryWalks and Picnic Jams, will take place in person. If you aren’t signed up for Summer Reading yet, please call the library at (606) 787-9381 to get signed up.

Join us at the Ag/Expo Center four Saturdays during Summer Reading for a StoryWalk!

There will be a StoryWalk at the Ag/Expo center on June 5, June 19, July 3, and July 17 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Stop by and walk part of the trail, starting from the right-hand side when you enter and going until the picnic tables, and discover a fun new story! Make sure to stop by the picnic tables at the end for some refreshments and goodies from library staff.

All In-Person Programs Are Cancelled Until Further Notice.  Stay Home and Stay Safe. Enjoy your favorite programs on our Facebook page.
